I am more concerned about how officials are reacting about how the Bourne filming is being handled. All I hear on the radio while minding my own business and my grumbling stomach is the fact that it concerns them a lot knowing that this (the film) might tarnish the image of the Philippines. To my understanding, a scene was shot in Leveriza-Quirino. Hello, if you have an iota of a knowledge as a Filipino, you would know and you would understand that Leveriza is not really the citadel of the country. People and their way of live do not represent the entire population. HOWEVER, how that area is being depicted in the movie(s) and whatever hypotheses the international community might formulate as far as the plight of the Filipino people is concened is actually part of the reality of how we live. Do these officials think that people are that stupid?
I don't know with you, but I am also a tax payer. A suggestion: Instead of trying to fathom the ill effects of what scenarios in the movie will project, why not actually do your jobs and give the area, well the entire country a facelift so that you yourselves will not be scared about the demons you have harbored for the longest time. Don't you think it's the right time to do that now that we are giving this country a backbone by means of promoting it?
Your choice.... You can rant all you want you assholes, but things like these aren't taking care of themselves unless YOU, all of you in power, act on it. Or did you forget that you are serving us?
Go to work!
