Fatso

I have never been called fat by anyone. Not that I feel bad because I am, but because I feel that it is mean and cruel to call someone fat. I suddenly feel for those horizontally challenged individuals who are ridiculed each and every day because of their size. It must take a lot of courage for them to stomach mean and ugly words like "fat", "fatso", "elephant", "whale" "chabelita", "balbalina", "balyena", "dambuhala", "shrek" and the like. I found a new respect for them.

It is also cruel for those people who battling with their weight because of certain disorders of the thyroid, a slow metabolism, and the inability to synthesize what they eat. And mind you, most of these people do not eat much as they try to be healthy and trim down to an otherwise sizeable frame. It's not fair for them or to anybody else to be called fat.

People who call other people names, shouldn't you be thankful that you don't have to battle similar situations on a daily basis, one that may end your life at any moment. Do you think it's funny for other people out there to exert much effort to stay healthy just to live longer? And do you think it is hilarious to label other people just because you want to feel good about your pathetic lives?

Shame on you! You don't deserve to be called people. Even animals respect each other!
