Hello solitude, my dear friend. You have accompanied me for so many years and now, I guess it is time to part ways with you.
I thank you for the quiet evenings, the tears and the sadness, and the undying longing to be in the company of people who love me.
But alas, I must let you go.
So long solitude, may we never meet again. And if we do, I hope it will be under circumstances where we can both look at each other in the eye, with common understanding and respect. I hope though that, that day will never come.
